The Grand Forks City Council could–and should–have supported property tax relief starting fifty years ago.
It would be easy–STOP IRRESPONSIBLE SPENDING by the City Council.
For that matter, eliminating irresponsible spending by the Park Board and School Board would make a major difference in tax rates.
Having the current group of irresponsible spenders go on record as supporting “property tax relief” is a joke. I want them to support responsible USE of that tax money, which is–and always has been–the true source of the problem.

So I guess that means you’re against Gershman pouring unencumbered funds into a skateboard park for 20 kids as he suggested he would at a council meeting.

I hope I never get tired of advocating for the three most abused groups in the Country:
Motorists
Taxpayers
Employees
Not coincidentally, what these groups have in common is…they’re almost everyone, and we’re getting shafted every single day by corrupt politicians and unethical businesses.
