Was the club house in Chester Bowl damaged beyond the point of being able to host the meeting? Wow, this is serious. I’ve lived in the nieghborhood since 1953, I remember the tobagan slides (sp?) and attended many functions in the old club house which sat behind the road leading to the ball field/soccer field/speed skating rink. That was a wonderful building, too bad we couldn’t have kept that! The new building is very sturdy with the first floor being concrete, but it has its drawbacks with a poo floor plan design and inaccessible main floor. Maybe that is why noone wants to use it for Chrester Bowl meetings!
