I was thinking that was not even ND, but I could be totally wrong. That hill is totally unique and ususally you don’t see fencing like that. It would be nice to know where that was taken.

When did 3″ become a storm? NWS doesn’t really indicate much of an issue N of Hwy 2.

The way the NWS whines and snivels every time there’s likely to be six snow flakes in the air at the same time makes me nuts. Buncha sissies. Cryin’ Sallies.
Forty years ago, this prediction would be delivered by Dewey Berquist as a “snow flurry”; and he’d warn us to beware of Snow Snakes. Then he’s show us a potato that looked like Richard Nixon.
When the Grand Forks school district got paid by the Feds “per day” for the Base students, there was no such thing as a “storm day”; although the bused-in students could go home after they’d spent enough hours in school to qualify for the daily impact-aid payment. The in-town students were kept for the long haul.

WARNING!! WARNING!!! 2-3 inches of snow “possible”!! Enough snow to almost cover the grass might actually fall!
Seriously? You can tell we have been having a mild winter when 2-3 inches of dry snow is a winter storm. In a normal winter, this would be “We will have a snowstorm this weekend, but not to worry, it will only drop 2-3 inches, hardly anything to worry about.”
