A Benghazi cover-up that wasn’t

Even in a news environment dominated by melodramatic, often bogus, group narratives, the Susan Rice affair stands out. What began as a tragedy in Benghazi has degenerated into a classic Washington farce, with Fox News and its allies pushing GOP political correctness, politicians faking indignation for TV cameras, and “mainstream” pundits advancing a false storyline for dramatic purposes. The real question that hasn’t been answered is why didn’t the embassy get more security after being bombed twice and requesting it? They obviously were not “crying wolf”; they were killed. Our flag was the only one left flying. Everyone else had left because of the danger. This is the tragedy. The “talking points”, although proving the “Three Stooges” antics of the administration (“it was this”, it was that”), is of less importance than the fact that the embassy was left as an easy target for these four people to be brutally beaten to death. Someone should be held accountable for these four lives. Our government is responsible for protecting our people, especially when there was a warning. Since the President is the commanding chief, he should be giving answers and take the blame if it comes down to him. But the chances that this will happen are slim. This will get buried.

This entire article is a digression from a that which really matters.
Benghazi was a stand-down, plain and simple, that went horribly awry. Perhaps the goal was to ferment support for the Anglo-American/NATO establishment’s war, which they have fomented and advocated, using the usual war propaganda (Neo-cons suck this up, like a sponge does water in a tub).
What is different with this stand-down, is that even the war-mongers at Fox News were reporting it as a stand-down, blatant and obvious – the facts are readily available.
Instead of garnering support, which is the intent of a false-flag or a stand-down, the administration was seen as incompetent. And when Petraeus wouldn’t play ball, he was set up.
But now the idea is to forget about all that, and make the talking-points about Susan Rice.
It is beyond immoral … but this is was the psychopaths at the highest levels of gov’t do.
