Ok, Gov and DFLers. Obstruct economic development in MN then plan big tax increases for workers to cover the bloated costs of government. Environmental assessment for drilling? Is this the first time someone stuck a drill in the ground in NE MN? This is just another example of delaying to appease the strident enviro-zealots. We know we can mine and keep our waters safe. We’ve done that for over 100 years. Get out of the way!

I think you all would have a different view on this if this were your land that someone was going to come in and drill on. Some of these drill sites are large operations and I believe may require cutting roads into the sites where exploration is planned. I can see why landowners would not be happy. That being said if these people are not affected landowners or residents of the area the suit should be thrown out.
