“pilots”… so now is everyone who flies a remote control plane a “pilot”? Will they be calling in a “pilot” like they would the SWAT team? Why not give a handful guys control of this thing for a weekend and their “piloting” problems will be resolved. There are even computer simulators for these things so they don’t have to practice with the real drone.

It’s a cute little thing. Will there be jurisdiction problems with it being used in 16 counties, or will they have a Sheriff dept employee from each county trained to fly it? Maybe the State Police should have it so there would be no question.
Do they think you could really see that thing from 400 feet, get real
Anyway it’s a cute little toy, wonder how many kids are getting them for Christmas!

Welcome to a whole new era of ignoring and abusing the 4th Amendment.
Why would the Sheriff care about the Constitution? Just gets in the way of spying on people.
Big Brother is watching…

Now everybody just calm down. There is no “Big Brother” and the government is not out to get you. It’s not like local sheriffs are driving around with remote controlled spy helicopters in their trunks or anything…….
