Whats to keep Grand Forks schools from spending that money and leaving the mill rate where it is?

Well last time they set it up that if a school district did that they did not get the state money.

Past property tax relief has just been met with an equal amount of increase in the city of Grand Forks. My property taxes have only gone up since I have lived here.

This is the beginning of the end of the surplus.
From this point forward, the wasteful spending increases to match tax income.
(OF COURSE Grand Forks politicians will just spend more. That’s a long tradition here.)
