The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act may simply be called “Obamacare,” but no one calls it simple.

REAL reform cannot happen until we take the profit motive out of health care. As long as docs and hospital corporations are allowed to set their own prices, rates and profits we’ll have a broken system.

The stupidest woman in America, Nancy Pelosi, PROMISED us that if Congress passed the bill we would find out what’s in the bill. Two years latter she’s STILL wrong.
Let me tell you what the bill said in essence: “We, the Legislative branch give up and give all our power to the Executive. You guys just do whatever the heii you want.

This whole debate is less about “reform” than it is about controlling a huge percentage of Americans’ lives. If it was truly about reform, why is the healthcare bill nearly 3000 pages long? What kind of invasive regulation is included in those extra 2800 pages?

True Hugh….nothing was really reformed. Tort reform? Forget it…half of the US senate is made up of lawyers. Do you think they want to limit the amount you can sue a hospital or doctor? And curb how much the legal system earns off of other peoples misery? I do think something needs to be done about heath care…to call what we ended up with “reform” is not being honest. The high cost of health care keeps going up faster than inflation. Sooner or later it will have to be dealt with.

Just one more mile down the road to becoming Greece. It is a disgrace what these socialists are doing to this once great Nation.

When did the United States stop being a great Nation? We have amassed the greatest military complex in the history of civilization!

We stopped being a great nation when we elected and reelected a president who prefers to apologize for our country than to support it. When we forgot that equal opportunity doesn’t and shouldn’t equate with equal outcomes. When the supreme court ruled that it’s constitutional to kill our unborn children, and when we forgot that “freedom of religion” doesn’t guarantee “freedom from religion.”
