With Jamestown High School goalie Carissa Finck providing the proverbial brick wall, teammate Amber Schaack dealt the backbreaker.
Finck stopped 32 shots and Schaack went coast-to-coast to slip the game-winner past Bismarck goalie Kennedy Blair just 39 seconds into overtime for a 2-1 victory in girls hockey play Tuesday at Wilson Arena.

Agreed. A total team effort from start to finish. Aside from a 5 or 6 minute stretch in the 2nd period, the Blue Jays outskated and outplayed Bismarck, even though Bismarck dressed 6 more skaters. The defense and goaltending, while solid last season, has really stepped up to the challenge so far in the first 3 games.
This squad is going to make some noise this year, so get out to Wilson Arena on Thursday and cheer them on against Fargo South. Go Jays!
