Mr. Walgren of the F. B. I. says he doesn’t know a lot of people that own these types of guns….????? Where do you live Mr. Walgren? Back east, Chicago maybe? Maybe he’s on temporary assignment from Florida.
A 25-06 is a very popular varmint cartridge and used extensively out west here for vermin, coyotes and certainly for deer. I’ve even taken an elk with one with a head shot at over 300 yards….piece of cake when you’re used to shooting rock chucks at five hundred plus!
The cartridge is a necked down 30-06, no mere slouch in the hunting world of big game. Sheeeze, you’d think the F. B. I. would have more knowledgable agents, they are university graduates after all and we know you should hire the college graduates while they still ….know it all!
But this will give the administration the opportunity to put the lowly hunting rifle on the soon to be approved list of banned weapons the new anti-second amendment revisionist executive order will contain along with machine guns, hand grenades and rocket launchers!
GOT BAKKEN? POOF!!! The Second Amendment! Gone
