so if this feasibility study comes back negatively, does that mean the road upgrades will not happen and walmart will not go in???? This really does not sound like a done deal to me. Sounds like we are all celebrating walmart way too early. Unless they are going to ignore the feasibiltiy study if it comes back negative.

I was hoping someone would be able to shed some light on this process. I’m asking a genuine question, because I don’t understand. What happens if this comes back negatively? I mean really will they still put in Walmart? If so, how will that screw up traffic if they do?

It’s my understanding it is a done deal. The store is coming, road or no road. The problem is who is paying. Walmart has agreed to pay for a lot of the improvements at Keats and in front of the store. The big problem is the whole road from Jamaica to Keats, The city is saying nothing has to be done down by Jamaica for a number of years and the business in that area will pay for the work. My suggestion is to drive it in the evening between 5:30 to 7:00, then on the weekends and form a opinion if the work needs to be done – with Walmart paying the tab.
