Duluth council members protest sale of Park Point fire hall

To heck with historic value. How about value value. We could put money into this hulk or we could replace some 100 year old water pipe. Forget this fuzzy B.S. and lets talk about concrete reality.

The city was going to tear down this very same firehall a couple of years ago. They were going to rebuild on the same spot with a building that would look a lot like the old one. Now we want to save this hall? I can just see it now….the government will spend huge money to preserve this so called historic structure. Dump the building and be done with it. This is a free country…let the buyer decide what to do with it.
