This is fantastic. Honey has medicinal properties and it is an excellent source of energy. It’s my preferred sweetener. Enjoy a really good peanut butter (dry roasted peanuts and salt – no additives) on an oatcake with either set honey or runny honey. It’s delicious.
I try to buy honey when I travel and at agric show or food fairs. I always try to support the local apiaries.
The little honeybee is indispensible to our existence, you know. They’re pollination keeps us in food.
Remember Joni’s reproach in Big Yellow Taxi – “hey farmer, farmer put away that DDT now. Leave me spots on my apples and give me the birds and the bees,,, please! Don’t it always seem to go that you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone. They pave paradise and put up a parking lot.” Therefore, demand organic, pesticide free fruit and veg. It will help the bees.
