Look out when a Tea Bag Gnawing Republicant complains about spending extra money on the environment, that means get ready for more garbage and pollution.

What the frack are you talking about? We need this natural gas. It’s a natural product isn’t it? I think we should frack then it will be cool to be able to light our tap water on fire.

What’s up with all these comments from people with an 8th grade understanding of economics. You’d might as well say, “Yeah, f— the environment, that will save the day!”

What’s up with all these comments from people with an 3rd grade understanding of environmental science?
Merv, people understand that putting the environment first will harm economic opportunities. Personally, I consider our environment more important than our economy. Obviously we need to have commerce in order to function as a society but the short-term damage to our bottom line is more palatable than the long-term damage to our home.

Johnny Indiana was chosen over Superior Wisconsin which has a republican Governor and state senate with a democratic majority in state house. Their national house and senate reps are split as well. So I guess you might want to re-thinks your thoughts on this matter.

M M ….Minnesota was in the running but didn’t even make the semi finals. Wonder if Indy has less red tape to deal with?

Fair enough John. Does that also mean Magnetation will, like a child, walk away from a mess without cleaning up when the fun is over. That is all I care about. Just like Honeywell in cohorts with the Army Corps of Engineers dumping crap in Lake Superior when no one was looking, I just want to make sure someone is looking. Is it red tape or good common sense environmental regulation? That is my only question.
Capitalists have proven every time through out history the shortest path to profits will be taken with out regards for the damage done to OUR land for THEIR gain.

Went to the regional meeting in Bloomington last night. 4-500 people showed up. Lots of great ideas shared. I think concern about climate change was the big issue.
