COLLEGE MEN’S HOCKEY: After what St. Cloud State coach Bob Motzko thought was a lethargic performance Friday, his Huskies came back to dominate Saturday’s game in a 5-1 win over UMD. Continue Reading

What lousy performance last night. Derek Johnson is one of the most undisciplined players I’ve seen. He’s worried more about making the big hit than scoring goals. Last night he ends up in the penalty box not once, but twice and both times, St. Cloud scored Power Play goals. He could have also easily got another penalty that didn’t get called. How does Sandelin get his attention? Nothing, he doesn’t even miss a shift. Next, Cody Danberg, I counted five times, in a row, where he gave the puck right to St. Cloud. I don’t understand how he is even a member of this team, let alone Captain. His line starts every game and Cameranesi, Seidel, and Farley is the best line on this team and it’s not even close. After Crandall faced his 13th shot, 4 goals were already on the scoreboard. Not a very good save percentage. It’s frustrating shelling out the money for season tickets only to see the product that is put on the ice.
