I’ve been living in Grand Forks and East Grand Forks for over 36 years and I cannot afford to live most of the time without a room-mate, however now I am a single parent now an do not want a room-mate and I still cannot afford $650.00 rent and nothing included most of the time I struggle with paying my other expenses due to high cost of living. I would like to move to a lower cost apt, but who can afford to move? I cannot find another apartment for lower cost for what I have already. I feel trapped! I feel like the property owner’s and management companys in the area are the crooks. Thanks for listening.

Precisely why I commute from Fargo to my classes at UND. Grand Forks has nothing, absolutely nothing to warrant higher prices. I mean, there’s not even a 24 hour grocery store since Super Walmart opened. It’s a joke. Though, one way Grand Forks wins out is they don’t seem to have any Eidco homes up there. I’m actually kind of surprised they don’t, they’d make a perfect fit in some areas.
