Parts of northwestern Wisconsin received a foot of snow overnight with Herbster, Hawthorne and Cornucopia all reporting 12 inches while Poplar, Madeline Island and Bayfield received closer to nine inches. In Milwaukee, police were investigating four separate homicides reported in course of nine hours Wednesday into Thursday. Plus more state news.
