Hmmmm…I don’t know. At the outset, I felt pretty much against it. Keep the Easties over in their own region. The Big Ten has always been the midwest’s premier college athletic conference, with a long tradition. But, as we’ve seen in so many other instances, tradition has been bumped in favor of money, secular wants or fame. But, after reading some of the reasons outlined in the article, particularly the several favorable ones for the Big Ten schools, I guess I’ll take a ‘Wait & see’ attitude. Well, come to think of it, I have no choice, apparently, but to do just that. Go Gopher’s! Go Bulldog’s!
