Friend of mine just returned from there as well. He said they had to have a police officer with them because some of the people were so rude and such jerks. He said that while some were really nice, the people (especially in New Jersey) were jerks who’d just flip you off when you went by, beg and cry for help but once their power was on would start cussing and swearing at you and tell you to get the 7734 out of there, and the likes. He said he’d never ever go help the people of New Jersey again. New York, yes. New Jersey, never! He said in one case in New Jersey a guy was such a jerk that after they restored power to the entire area they took the police officers suggestion and actually snuck back and cut the guys line on purpose. With all other power restored and him being the only one without he’d be on the bottom of the company’s list to get checked out again. Two days later they drove by and he still didn’t have power. He said the “me me-I’m more important than you” attitude you hear so often about people from Jersy is sooooo true. Biggest bunch of jerks he’d ever met.
