‘Fiscal cliff’: Impacts could be widespread
November 18, 2012 at 6:00 pm in West Central Tribune
ST. PAUL Americans could see their federal tax bills increase, in some cases dramatically. People who depend on federal programs may not receive services or funds they expect. Rural doctors could see payments drop. With businesses reluctant to spend money in uncertain times, finding jobs may be harder. The stock market could tumble. A recession may begin.

Stinson fears those smaller checks could start a downward spiral with spending slowing, hurting businesses that then would restrict hiring and buying. That, in turn, would further affect businesses and workers.
Doesn’t exactly sound like the trickle down economics that the current Republican party is preaching does it? LOL
The truth is tax and hurt the middle class workers…you know the ones, that buy all the crap we make and import and it hurts the wealthy. Eventually at some point anyway.

cliff, curb, mountain, mole hill, pebble in the road … the one thing I have learned from this forum (from certain people) is that everything that goes wrong in this entire world can be blamed solely on two people … President Obama and Governor Dayton … I’m pretty sure neither of them are being paid enough to have that much crud on their shoulders … perhaps I could ask a itty bitty favor … the next time you have a flat tire … maybe blame it on the Easter bunny … he can carry that much of the problems

oh and a Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving to all … no matter your political, religious or any other affiliation may you spend it with family and loved ones (even those you may have to just ‘tolerate’) … give thanks for the banquet before you … and give thanks for all the riches in your life, not just those material items! I know I will!

The”fiscal cliff” is just a bump in the road to the left’s unimpeded spending. A so called compromise would be no spending cuts and big tax increases which is what the nothings on the left want.

It’s the name calling that disturbs me the most … the idea that those who oppose your viewpoint are somehow ignorant, dumb, whatever … that the only smart people in the world are those who agree with you … it certainly would be a pretty boring world if we all agreed … I guess we would all be one religion, one race, one sexual orientation, etc. etc. … I imagine there are plenty of people who would like that, personally I would not … what good is a conversation if everyone agrees with everyone … I mean really, you can only discuss the weather so much before it becomes boring!
