Sam thanks for sharing this story as it fits with my experience. I spend a fair amount of time at my cabin in the woods from March through October and have seen only one wolf over the years. Hearing the locals speak you’d think the deer are run into a frenzy by packs of hungry wolves. And while I did come across a deer kill on a snowshoe trip this past winter, the deer in my area roam the woods as usual without stress or signs of being on high alert.
