A pastor’s view: Abortion supporters gloss over effect on unborn children
November 16, 2012 at 6:00 pm in Duluth News Tribune
As we were reminded in the recent election, the issue of abortion is now almost exclusively a “women’s health-care issue” or, perhaps, a “woman’s health-care decision.” Hence, the alleged evolution of how we are to think of abortion is now complete.

So glad to see the truth being expressed here. Here is on who is being a voice for those who are unable to speak for themselves. Why does our country face a fiscal cliff? I believe that you can find the root of it in our cultures willingness to value selfishness over self sacrifice. The crafty use of words to disguise the truth reminds me of 2 Corinthians v 14 and 15: And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. It is not surprising then if his servants masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve. My prayer is that we wake up and see the deception for what it is and become servants of the truth.

Pastor, you forgot the line about life beginning at conception that you must also hold dear. And that women’s health care is also about birth control which of course must be a sin as well.
We are a society that has a conservative wing that cries about the loss of social values while at the same time looks the other way when prescriptions for Viagra are allowed under ‘normal’ health insurance.
Many thanks for your support of the diminishment of the conservative agenda in our society.

Yep! I think this local pastor is all about taking away every woman’s contraceptives! Yep! I believe he wants every woman to be barefoot and pregnant.!Yep! I believe he thinks women should be just baby machines! People who cannot see the forest for the trees cannot see the immorality of killing a baby under the guise of women’s health care for their unmitigated infliction of charging those people who realize that their is the matter of “fetal health care” extremist! There’s a new “racism” abounding; it’s against anyone who has not drunk the cultural kool aid that wants what’s right for our country, for families, for babies and yes, ultimately, for women. Thank you for really caring about women, Pastor Ross.

Abortion, women’s health care that always ends in a death. Something is incredibly wrong and warped in this scenario.

Sigh…what everyone of those against abortion seem to have totally forgotten is exactly why we made abortions legal. It wasn’t to kill babies it was to save lives because we had an epidemic of young girls dying from self attempts at abortion or from back alley abortions and the babies AND the women were dying. This NEVER seems to get brought up in the abortion debate, WHY we made it legal.
It’s great emotional argument to say are protecting the unborn babies but meanwhile you’re advocating putting women at risk of dying. The falsehood of argument is that if we make abortions illegal then there won’t be any. Making them illegal will only stop legal abortions, there will still be abortions performed, there always has….
Sidebar~ Most know about the Duluth Lynchings of course but very few are aware of really why happened. She had just found out her boyfriend made her pregnant and so with circus in town and the Sheriff spreading racist rumors about the black in circus they concocted the story that she was raped by them. The reason then was if were white girl with a black man’s baby you could get a legal abortion! Funny thing is don’t think ANY of the devout white Christian Pastors were adamant and vocal about protesting that though. There were no constant protests demanding that we save the babies. Kinda makes one go..mmmm…
