   The comparison to the Civil War seems to be spot on. The Red State lines more/less follow the Mason Dixon Line.
   Odd how the South was always a Democratic stronghold.
   My opinion is it goes along race lines. The President is not liked simply because he is black. The newspaper did not endorse Obama because “we simply disagree with some of his practices, political beliefs and policies. No big deal.” I find this odd for the fact that 2 of these , his practices and policies of which the large one is Health Care, is formed on Romney’s own plan. I don’t’ know what political belief he would have that Romney would be so different on but to say its “no big deal” is a disservice. If it’s no big deal, why do an endorsement at all? Does the paper think that their opinion does not influence people? Of course it does, that’s why they do editorials….to influence people. It is a big deal.
   I would also like to note that the paper did not say that their candidate lost so we are behind the elected President. They did point out that the cycle will start again in 3 years.
   It will start in 2. It will start when the Republicans do what Republicans do….start the impeachment process, lets waste more time and money and accomplish nothing.

   1. A person who arbitrarily and capriciously feeds off the anger of others as he attempts to insult and demean over the internet usually over topics he/she knows nothing about. The goal is not discussion but argument.
   2. A person whose sole purpose in life is to seek out people to argue with on the internet over extremely trivial issues, issues which they know little about or even issues they normally do not even care about. Such arguments can happen on blogs, forums and various social networking sites.
   3. Someone who posts controversial, inflammatory, irrelevant or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum or chat room, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response or to generally disrupt normal on-topic discussion.
   4. Someone who is really hard to talk with, because of his/her intention to annoy others in the internet. Trolls don’t engage in meaningful debate, they simply hurl insults. Usually found in large forums or mailing lists. Best to stay away from them.
   5. Someone who seeks to cause dismay to other well-meaning and unsuspecting people on the internet that they don’t even know. They are most likely known to put lame or hurtful comments where ever possible or anywhere you can openly post comments. Internet Trolls are known to also have never contributed any thing of substance to the site they terrorize on and usually have a lame or grandiose username designed to make them appear wise or powerful.
   6. An internet troll is a person who uses anonymity to cause frustration, anger, impatience or to generally be disruptive for no seemingly good reason EXCEPT to be that nuisance.
   7. Most trolls have problems forming real-life relationships; have a hard time attracting members of the opposite/same sex, and are generally introverts. Most trolls have no real skills or much education although they will tell you they are extremely smart and popular. They tear others down in a feverish attempt to build up their own insecure egos. False internet names allow them to masquerade as anyone other than the lonely pathetic losers they usually are.

  I posted an opinion. If you want to discuss/argue a dissenting opinion, fine. As of now, you have contributed nothing to the discussion.
