Wasn’t Rubin among the first to get on the “impeach Clinton” bandwagon because of his consenual relationship with Lewinski? Now that the shoe is on the other foot, with one of her favorite generals in the hot seat, it’s no big deal. She neatly fits the definition of a partisan hack.

In Clinton’s case it was not the fact that he was messing around that got him impeached by the House, it was the fact that he perjured himself in court. Him stuping someone is Hillary’s problem. Him committing perjury is another story.

When it involves conduct that can be used to blackmail any person in such a position is compromised. Petraeus was right to step down and the President to accept the resignation.
