This is a good time for farmers to remind their Republican representatives they just reelected about their concerns. As to the farm programs themselves, the Senate already passed their version. The budget? sorry, there is not enough revenue to support the cost of the farm bill. Lastly, move food stamps from USDA to HHS and I suspect a farm bill would be easily attainable.
