Cool. Free advertising. Can the Herald extend that to all the small businesses in town as well? Make a list.

I really, genuinely, HATE that x-mas shopping begins before Halloween.
Or that Halloween shopping starts before Back-To-School shopping.
Retailers are trying to lead us around like we have rings in our noses.
God bless mail-order. At least I can block the offensive advertising on Amazon.
Maybe the legislature can make it illegal to advertise “holiday” merchandise more than 30 days before the actual holiday.

When I worked retail they said “you will work the day after thanksgiving”. I told them “no I will not”. Never heard a word about it and still worked that position for 9 more months before I moved on to a different line of work.
