I’m sorry but I don’t understand what this is for. The text seems to indicate it’s an ingredient in a holiday alcoholic drink, which I would think would then be bottled. But the photo indicates it’s in a paper container, like ice cream. Please – what does it do?

The Tom & Jerry is a hot seasonal drink. The mix is added to hot water, rum and brandy (and milk) to make the drink. The mix is essentially whipped egg whites mixed with the yokes, sugar, and a few spices. I’d never heard of it before moving to Duluth 20 years ago but it seems to be quite the winter tradition here.
