Really gotta compliment these dedicated beer afficianados. It’s really all about the brew but they went the extra mile with the “pride of place” component. This is definitely an asset to Duluth. Could hardly imagine something like this all those years ago when I lived in Dlth.
I’ve been a long time advocate of preserving the architecture and character of Canal Pk – openly critical of the “North Shore” style – as article calls it of hotels/motels as not fitting in and cheapening the authenticity of the district. I wish Mr Rockie K had embraced the notion when he invested in the lodge.
These guys, including Mr Rockie K deserve our praise. Well done!!
