National view: Despite outcome, no need to radically change GOP
November 10, 2012 at 6:00 pm in Duluth News Tribune
They lose and immediately the chorus begins. Republicans must change or die. A rump party of white America, it must adapt to evolving demographics or forever be the minority.

What a bunch of hogwash….for starters..”And Republicans are the party of smaller government”…that is bald faced lie…the last 4 Republicans have increased the size of government, deficit, debt and spending while the Democratic last 3 Presidents have cut the size of Government, lowered the deficit and cut spending.
“Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts.”……. Daniel Patrick Moynihan
Next was stating that Rommney was transistional person and the only problem was lost because of position on immigration. Another falsehood, he lost because the GOP has made clear that they are against the average American, those that are poor, black, brown, yellow, working class, gay, women and insulted and degraded every one of those groups and not just insulted and degraded those groups but made clear was supporting policies that were against their best interests. Yet the GOP is surprised that didn’t work to win the election…dear Gawd, it’s like a moron’s club.
One is totally delusional and living in a fantasyland if don’t think that and that Rommney not only a sociopathic liar but that the GOP with Rove and Faux kept insulting everyone’s intelligence with lie after lie with transparent agenda’s. You don’t spit in folks faces, say you’re going to take their money so can protect their rich friends and then be surprised when they don’t vote for you….it’s like conservatism is a mental disorder that attacks the part of brain required to do basic math, keep facts straight and is used for critical thinking skills…that’s what the GOP needs to fix…and stop lying all the time…then maybe they might someday recover…continue supporting same failed policies, liars, and trying to claim are the moral majority and everyone else is a socialist commie idiot like have done…and you might as well pack it in now and stop wasting your time…

My God fastone! you quote moynihan about creating ones own facts and and go about doing just that. Your whipping boy George Bush jumped in with both feet to pacify his democratic congress and we’ll be paying for it for many years. But to claim Obama is for limited government is the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard in the last 40 months. I’m not making claims about his Ideology he writes about his beliefs for all to read. His belief is government, goverment, and more government is the cure for all our problems. I actually agree with old Krauthammer more times than not but not in this op-ed. One of the latinos least important issues is immigration. They want the old entitlement of free health care and education. walk into any calif. county hospital emergency room and it’s standing room only after 5:30 PM. We had the same problem here in Ok until it was addressed. 97 percent of the black voters voted for Obama. Proof that a black socialist will carry that races vote regardless of his ideology. Oh sorrry I’m the racist . Right?

You claim I’ve made up my facts while you’ve provided not a shred of proof that I have..awesome. You’re all over the place, I didn’t whip on just George W….I was including all Presidents since Carter that just happens to include Reagan and both Bush’s. Repubs have added 2.5 more times to our national debt that Dems…look it up.
OMG~you said that Immigration is the LEAST important issue to Hispanics, they just want a free ride and 97% of Blacks voted for Obama because is black socialist? Pssttt…Blacks would have voted 97% for Democrat if was white…they always have..SMH!! I think Clinton carried the same portion of black vote…HELLO. You don’t know what a socialist is, you’re just repeating what being fed by reichwing talking heads…
Nice display of what is wrong with GOP…from his article to your comments…total clueless denial…and yup…your negative stereotype portrayals dripping with disdain are pretty racist…and maybe those groups voted for Obama because they didn’t see voting for a sociopathic liar who could care less about them and a party that has demonized them just as you have was voting in their best interest…SMH!!
So the GOP is in huge denial that it’s not their fault for insulting the majority of americans and portraying them in constant negative stereotypes then pushing policies to be against their interests…it’s just not their fault and just was slight miscalculation…yeah, that’s it…
The Texas GOP has as official public policy in writing of course that they “oppose critical thinking skills”…I think that should be the new GOP motto actually…why not just go with your strong suit…LOL.

Perhaps the republican party would be best served by choosing new columnist/representatives that have the pulse of the growing minority communities. Continuing to let failed bitter old white men write your opinions will do no good in the coming years.
