Two days after her election to the U.S. Senate, Heidi Heitkamp said she was not certain she would be greeting happy supporters at a Grand Forks victory party today, but she gave them all the credit. Continue Reading

Seriously? Another ‘gotcha’ photographic, editorial decision by FCC? You really didn’t have a more reasonable, dignified photo of North Dakota’s Senator elect? It looks like you send a photographer to these events to shoot the worst possible moment for this lady. Everyone ALWAYS wants photos of them published, with their mouth wide open. Two times this week. In a word….despicable.

Talk about sore losers. They backed the wrong people and first they had an outragous caricature of Obama a couple weeks ago, and now two bad photos of Hiedi. What? Are they getting staff from the local jr. high schools now? This is so damn childish….and obvious

Live in a cave? Really for reading the two area newspapers that pertain to what is going on around me.. hmmm. I would say I lived in a cave if I didn’t read the newspapers.. But then I guess I’m not the social media butterfly you are.

In today’s paper (11/10) is a story about Berg’s defeat. The UND Political Science prof states he thinks part of the reason is Heidi genuinely seems to enjoy campaiging and Berg does not. He postulates that the voters picked up and that, which made him less appealing as a candidate.
In that way the picture above may be apropos. Heidi likes people. Berg does not.

Could be. But then again, McKinley sat on his porch and rocked while William Jennings Bryan campaigned all over the country. Guess who won?
