I just want to let you know how very disappointed I am with the news that you will no longer be covering the NYM area news! I grew up in Perham, work in Perham & NYM, my kids go to school in NYM and yes my address is New York Mills, but the communities go hand in hand. Your article said that NYM does not support the paper financially, and that subscriptions alone are not enough. As a small retailer in NYM I have to say your ads are not affordable and you make it impossible for retailers like me to buy your ads. Our community is struggling and by taking away our newspaper I feel it will struggle even more. From the amount of coverage you have been doing recently in the NYM area I would think that subscriptions would be enough to support a short drive over once or twice a month. I hear alot of comments from the good people of this great little community that the EOT Focus staff & editor do not feel NYM people are important enough for their paper. I used to think those accusations were silly, but now I am starting to feel the same way. Thanks EOT Focus, way to show our kids and the people of the Mills area that they matter! Sincerely disappointed!
