YES, I love it we finally will see some stability in Mn gov. With Gimse gone, and a few others who didn’t cut the cheese watched as they were voted out by people tired of gridlock, tired of some politicians trying to pass amendments to the Constitution that were costly and fribious. The country has changed, Minnesota has changed, and the principles that made our state strong are still entact. The progress of this state however was being slowed, and in some cases over shadowed by religious views, and obstructionists who craved power and influence. The people have spoken and the only problem was Bachman who barely managed to stay in office, I wish she would have been voted out! Of course that is the 6th districts cross to bare, because the real power came from the voters who said enough was enough as they cleaned house in the main elections.

Seriously what happened to the Republican party? After Nixon the party went down hill and I believe the new generation of Republicans sold America out and began to embrace greed and corporate interests. I believe Ike was one true Republican leader and was a stand up President. The quality of Republican politicians have dropped to the level of aweful. Some became radical, while other facist. The recent attacks towards women was something I could hardly believe was happening. My wife commented in total disgust not at any of the politics but at the comments concerning women and some of the outrageous and out of bounds statements especially regarding rape. She doesn’t get involved in politics or even cares to discuss them but this year was different she was determine to vote against Republican soley because of these anti-women comments.

Bob you are forgetting if Bush had not crashed the economy into the ground there may have been extra fundiing. Instead of blaming Dems look at the factors that took us to this point. Republican run administration that brought down the economy then turned around and punished many state and gov agencies as well as the tax payers! Pawlenty left office with the state 5 billion in the red to run for president and bombed out fairly quickly.

bob its typical of you and other Bush supporters to continue looking for excuses to why the economy failed and why the recession hurt many people. Like I said before you can spin it anyway you want but the bottom line Bush was president, plawenty the gov, they were the head cheese, the buck stops with them. So Bob the evidence is clear the 8yrs of a Republican in the White house was a complete domestic and foreign disaster.

So jimmy why doesn’t the buck of Obama’s abject failure stop with him? Why after four long tedious years of the Obama misery index don’t Obama and the democrats take ownership of their disaster?
