A long process, excellent collaboration, a lot of work, and a big change… but well worth it. My grandchildren will appreciate this improvement to our community for years to come. Thanks to all who helped make it happen, from University planners and officials, to City engineers, to bricklayers. Well done!

Just drove it. I like how they added all the concrete, asphalt, and bricks to retain heat. Then took away parking, and slowed the traffic down to a crawl.

I pray that I’m wrong on this:
But I say that there will be more car/pedestrian accidents in the next 5 years on that section of Cascade, as there have been over the past 5 years…
With the loss of driver’s visibility to pedestrian traffic due to bricks/concrete in the center of the roundabouts, added crosswalks, added signs, more people vehicles in smaller spaces… plus people driving wayyyyyy tooooo fast… just wait and see… I pray I’m wrong…
