After Romney loss, GOP asks, ‘where do we go from here?’

Having lost the popular vote in five of the last six presidential elections, Republicans plunged Wednesday into an intense period of self-examination, blame-setting and testy debate over whether their party needs serious change or just some minor tweaks. Continue Reading

The GOP has a great opportunity to do what other great teams who have taken a loss can do, learn. Understand that they need to represent the evolution of American into a multi-cultural, younger, and more compassionate society. Or they can still stay pissed and resent the fact that America has evolved into a multi-cultural, younger, and more compassionate society. The faithful belief that money wins all that was propped up by Citizens United took a big hit. The more both major parties represent the true face of our country the better we all will be.
But hey, doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result is still an option.

Both parties have much to learn from this election, however, the GOP needs to learn that even though they believe that their way of thinking and living is the way that all people should think and live, that’s just not the way it is. America has a very different face today, just like Ranger said. The slams and put-downs that the GOP made to the poor people and women in this country are nothing short of cruel and ignorant. In my opinion, the GOP represents what I least like; white male supremacy, racism, keeping women in their “place” at home baking cookies and making babies, harsh judgment of others, and that money is their Supreme God, and money is more important than people. They need to open up their minds and accept that most of us do not want to be like them in any way! They are just plain judgmental snobs!
