That’s the American way – kick ‘em when they’re down!
I heard he wasn’t planning to run again, but we’ll let him make his own announcement about his future.

So if a Democrat gets kicked when they are down it is a bad thing? But if it’s a Republican you are telling them to eat crow? And people wonder why there is a divide in our country. If somebody runs, and loses, just leave them alone, unless they deserved to get voted out due to being caught stealing for the gov’t or not telling their constituents the truth about Mel leaving.

I’m not sure what you’re asking. Kicking anybody when they’re down is a bad thing. It’s a bit hard to defend in a civilized society.
I don’t see anyone, except Republicans, kicking Mitt Romney for losing. Watch the “analysis” on Fox News. Some of those guys are apoplectic.
Are you accusing Oberloh of “being caught stealing for the gov’t”? If not, who ARE you talking about?
And I don’t see where Oberloh had anything to do with “not telling the truth about Mel leaving.” That wasn’t a city issue.
As for “eating crow”, hypocrites should “eat crow” when the facts presented to them are so obvious and make their arguments / behaviors look foolish.
The votes are counted. The election is over. It’s time to move on to bigger issues.
