Clearly she is just as classless as Ms. Housley was when she lost to Katie. Seriously, what a poor way to conduct yourself. An incredibly unknown Republican who gets trounced by a well known and respected legislator in a blue collar democratic district and she blames the electorate? I would expect better. Maybe if she showed up for the first debate – that would have helped? Maybe if she door knocked in the district – never saw her or a supporter and I live in a Red precinct. How about having coherent talking points that actually resonated with the people she was talking to instead of the same party line about jobs and the economy? Own up. You lost to a better candidate. Maybe you learned something and can be a better candidate in the future.

oh and now the whining begins. Ms. Quinlan if you had shown up to the debates, if you did not support discrimination as in the marriage amendment, maybe you would have gone further. Please don’t whine, accept your lose with grace and move on.

It could also be the fact that Katie Sieben is a much more qualified candidate with a proven record of accomplishment. She worked hard to be re-elected and will continue to serve our district well. Ms. Quinlan’s remarks are nothing more than sour grapes indeed.
