Romney says he “put it all on the field”
November 6, 2012 at 11:45 am in West Central Tribune
BOSTON (AP) Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney wrote a 1,118-word victory speech on Tuesday as he concluded his yearslong quest for the presidency claiming he had no regrets.

Romney can write thousands of words, give hours of speeches but in the end the damage he did to himself and his campaign was his past practices and his inability to convince voters he can be trusted. Romney’s connection to Bain, his tax returns, his off shore accounts, and his pick for VP all became factors that were not in Mittmoneys favor. Both Mitt and Ryan did not tell the truth and they were caught at it, and voters are tired of being manipulated. I had no doubt Obama would be elected to a second term especially with bigger urban cities. Now if Mr Romney is this stand up guy maybe he will show us how he plans to create 12M jobs? I mean he could help his party get back some creditability. Mitt stated he can create 12M jobs and 217 in Wis. so why not prove it?

Bob what you fail to understand is Republicans didn’t make it easy for the President to do anything and the deficit was going to remain high simply because of the two wars. all the appropriation towards the war on terrorism, and the support to keep the torture prison operational. Obama had legal hurrdles no first term President can over come without both parties coming together. Nothing negative about the president matters coming form the extreme right because the election is over Obama now has to keep us moving forward and many believe he did a decent job. Hopefully Republicans can get on board?

Elections do have consequences if people don’t believe the President didn’t really try. Turns out the people believe the Republicans created many roadblocks and tried to make Obama a first term president instead of working for the people. THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN, and the obstructionists have failed!

Bob, did Obama not move and actually strike a deal with Boehner at one time, only to have the far right sabotage that agreement. The house has to stop being idealogically tied to Norquist and do what is best for the country also!

wow Bob … just wow … you say ” “war on women”(Women always voted with their minds but switched to body parts this election).” I am just guessing you are not female … and I am also surmising that you don’t believe in this ‘war on women’ … just my guess … once you have the CORRECT anatomy parts then come talk to me … you truly are clueless … the teaparticans are clueless … at some point you and the others need to step back and think just why did the teaparticans lose this election … the legitimate rape comments, the ‘a child from rape is a blessing from God’ comments … perhaps it’s the “science has come a long way and there is no reason a woman would die while she is pregnant’ comment … I am just paraphrasing a very small sample … as I said, once you have the correct anatomy you will get my attention … but for now I and millions of other women in this country look at the ‘established white male’ and say not so much anymore!

This past year was truly a war on women and the women didn’t forget. Some Republicans especially those supported by the teaparty seem bent on taking this country back to the days where women should be barefoot and pregnant. To suggest that a women should feel blessed to bare a child from a rapist is the saddest and most insane comment yet. Even other Republicans ran from that statement, and it damaged Romney’s campaign whether some believe it or not. To suggest women should not receive birthcontrol especially funded by tax payers is again insane and hypocritcal. The gov. of Kanas already made it a law women cannot buy birthcontrol. I mean would these Republicans rather see the state and government support a child the parent or parents can’t afford? The same goes for planned parent hood. this program eliminates abortion, and saves tax payers millions of dollars but yet some Republicans did not want to fund it, why? Because of Planned Parenthood teenage pregnancy is down. I never met anyone who is not pro-life. its pro-choice that is the issue, and Republicans continue to try and waste tax dollars fighting Wade vrs Roe, or coming up with other laws that again cost money especially when they are appealed. We do not want to see women seeking back alley abortions, or leaving the country to get an abortion, or worst yet dumping kids in the trash cans or the door steps of churches and hosipitals. Republican scream bloody murder if tax payers have to financially support some abortions, yet they scream even louder and call people dead beats who have to depend on the system to raise a child. The state foster homes are full of children, yet some of those calling themselves pro-life go to other countries to adopt children. While I commend those who want to care for foster children I struggle at times to understand why they go over seas when plenty of children are right here. Women have the right to govern their own bodies and what really bugs me is some Republicans holler about big government being in our lives, but it seems when it suits them and they want to deny women their right to choose, they again turn to and involve the gov.

I can understand as a male you can not understand these things as a woman can … I’m just saying … you may spout all you can, but until you have my anatomy you read into as a male would … not as a woman would

Romney was so upset after losing he canceled his staffs credit cards before midnight and cleaned out the office. Some Republicans were questioning how they could have lost, I guess he never figured Republicans also voted for Obama. Heck it happens when people know the candidate from the opposite party is a better choice for the people.
