An effigy of President Obama with a noose around his neck was tied to an electronic billboard along one of Duluth’s busiest thoroughfares during the middle of the day on Election Day.

Here is the proof that ignorance is still alive and well in this country and not just down south. Why do people possess such hate and discontent? I can tell you why many of these people can’t stand their own lives, are usually uneducated, and are also proven to have a low IQ! Too bad there are many decent people who are educated enough and have a good sense of values to vote the candidate with the best interests of the people in hand.

So Jimmy should research if this kind of stupidity has happened before in order to be outraged by it? He was commenting on a news piece. I had never heard about the HBO issue before – that is sick too – but has NOTHING to do with what happened in Duluth Minnesota.

just highly offensive … and it should be highly offensive to everyone … it doesn’t matter what political party you are associated with …

I believe I have said, more than once, that the office of the presidency deserves respect … I do not care which party is in office … it is offensive no matter what party it relates to. shame on people for doing so!

Nora the comments from bob have nothing to do with finger pointing as it does with me giving my opinion on racist ignorance, that seems to still be alive in this country. A professor from one of the unversities sited low IQ’s and people who are not happy with their own lives usually resort to this type of ignorance. I could care less who is involved or f they are right or left, but the incidents I seen toward our President espcially during the town meeting for health care were sad. Then there was the billboard in Idaho, the comment about Obama and his family being monkeys from a political state rep, and the skin heads down south who as usual went on their racist rants. The country has had a history of this since America was founded, and through the centuries it has gotten better. We finally elected Obama which I still say was one of the greatest steps this country has taken to breaking this barrier and for once it judges people by their character rather then the color of their skin.
