CHICAGO (AP) Expressing confidence but leaving nothing to chance, President Barack Obama indulged his superstitions by engaging in a traditional Election Day basketball game with friends as the race that will determine his political future was finally in the hands of voters.

I was confident that Obama would win re-election even before the Republicans had a candidate. The list of Republican candidates were simply aweful and carried the wrong messages. Mitt Romney emerged from this mess of poor presidential candidates and proceeded to hammer on the President often misleading and contradicting himself. The wealthy lined up to dump millions into the ROMNEY election campaign, because they don’t like Obama’s message of asking the wealthy to pay more! Mitt Romney’s past has come back to haunt him as well as his poor record as a one time governor. Thank goodness his sorry camapign came to a crashing end, and the true peoples President will once again continue moving us forward. There is nothing Republicans can do to Obama except work with him this time around and try to earn some form of creditability. Mr Romney time to make those 12M jobs appear, what do you have to lose now?
