Isn’t that interesting! For some magical reason the wolf population was not ever reported to rise above the 3000 mark for the past 10 years, now it seems one pup crop would double their numbers. There are significantly more than 3000 wolves in MN and the DNR knows it! I did my own research on Minnesota’s wolf population, growth and mortality a few years ago. A conservative conclusion brought wolf numbers closer to 15,000 in MN. Listen folks, if there were only 3000 deer in MN, hunters would never even see one, much less see and kill 65 of them in 3 days. I wish the real truth about our wolf population would finally be told.
