“Coach Leslie Frazier said Monday he hasn’t thought about pulling Ponder from a game or even a series.”
If that is true, he’s no better than Childress who also didn’t know when to pull a QB. If a running back fumbles a few times, they pull him. Why should a QB doing everything wrong be different?

Because there is a HUGE difference between the mental aspect of a Running Back’s game, and a Quarterback’s game.
Confidence is very important to a QB and if they are worried that if they make a mistake they might get benched, they are likely to second-guess themselves on something that SHOULD be second nature.
You could argue that “If he can’t handle that, he shouldn’t be playing Pro Football” but it is not that simple.
All young QB’s struggle in their second year. It is the nature of the beast.

Well all of them pass for more than 68 yards.. Id love to see 200-300 yards.. 3 touchdowns and 3 picks.. at least it will make a good game.
