The headline reads “High voter turnout expected despite lack of top-of-ballot action”
Then the last sentence reads “That began to change in the campaign’s closing days, with a few big-name visits.” Plus a lot of last minute ad buys saturating the air waves.
I would say the visits of ex-President Clinton and VP candidate Ryan would have some effect on the headlines but then some people only read the headlines.
