Seems like the term “land owner” is quite a mis-nomer around these parts. I own the land but wasn’t bright enough when I bought it to retain the mineral rights….
Well, whose fault is that big guy? I’ll bet the land owners who also own the mineral rights aren’t complaining. The story of the haves and the have nots, but they have no one to blame but themselves.
