A Minnesota Senate Republican staffer was out of his job Friday, hours after he used profanity on Twitter to publicly criticize Cottage Grove Republican John Kriesel’s opposition to the proposed constitutional amendment banning gay marriage.

I am not surprised that a Gimse staffer would act so poorly. Staff people take their lead from their boss. But, to insult a wounded veteran by making light of his injuries is beyound crass. This is apparently an illustration of how far the once great Republican party has sunk. The fact that Gimse seems to have little concern about what he calls the “sophomoric” remarks of his staff member shows that Gimse is unworthy of a place in the Senate.

I read back on Kiesel’s twitter account … well, back to September anyway … the number of proposed ‘R’ party people who disparaged him, called him a RINO … was, well … despicable! I guess I haven’t seen Democrats do that to people in their own party … perhaps they have, but I just haven’t seen it.

hmmmmmmm I thought Pres. Clinton (notice still proper names) campaigned for Pres. Obama … now I’m wondering which one of us is remembering incorrectly … Pres. Clinton was STILL and REMAINS a popular President. and NO I have not heard DINO …. please give me an example where they weren’t ‘democrat’ enough please … and where the democrats went after them to take away their seat in Congress
