Nobles County commissioner candidates make their case

Editor’s note: With Election Day on the horizon, the Daily Globe requested that each of the 10 Nobles County Board of Commissioners candidates tell voters why they believe they should be elected to the county board. I find it interesting that neither Chairman Benson or Marv mention why they allowed Mel to run everything for years. They also don’t mention that they were not forthright with the County in regards to Mel’s leaving. At least the other commissioners had the integrity to step down after being involved in this mess. I guess if you would ask either Chairman Dave or Marv they would say they are the reason for this mess, not them. These two are part of the reason why we are in the mess we are in Nobles County, not the solution. Anyway you look at they do not deserve reelection. They either didn’t have a problem with way things ran with Mel or they are incompetent. Either way we the Nobles County public losses.
