Calvin, I thank you and your brothers for your service but Romney is no draft dodger and obama is no friend to the military. The best thing we can do for our country economically and militarily is to vote for Romney/Ryan.
Thanks to all of our vets.

Presidents that had no military service:
John Adams, JEFFERSON, Madison, Quincy Adams, Van Buren, Tyler, Polk, Fillmore, Buchanan, LINCOLN, Andrew Johnson, Cleveland, Taft, Wilson, Harding, Coolidge, HOOVER, Franklin ROOSEVELT, CLINTON, George W. Bush, and OBAMA.
Lot of big names there. Although I might prefer service myself I would not make my decision based on that. You may notice obama has no service either. On top of that many still dispute his citizenship. It took him three years to contrive a birth record that has been obviously tampered with. He has spent millions hiding his records, so very little is known of his past. There is a reason for that and I’m sure it’s not a good one. That right there would be enough for me to reject him!

Wow. Deano’s a birther! Shocking. I’m sure this “late-breaking news” will impact the outcome of the election! Not. And typically off topic.
Give it a rest. Trump was publicly humiliated for taking this same ridiculous position. Do you really want to keep beating this drum? To what purpose? Time to move on.

Seeing how you profess to be the purveyor of the English language. I thought I’d ask this.
In this quote “Wow. Deano’s a birther!” is this the right use of the apostrophe? Back to obama, I’d also like to see him puke up his other hidden records (get it HIDDEN)? Remember a few weeks ago the dems wanted Romney to give up his tax records? Then the rebubs started talking about a trade of tax records for obama’s records. Funny how all of a sudden you never heard a word about the tax records. There is something flat out wrong there.

eastender… Perhaps you’d like to expand your comments and bless us us with your wisdom on WHEN Obama served? WHAT business experience he possessed before he was elected? WHY we should vote him in for another painful four years? WHAT his major successes were? (mainly because even HE won’t talk about his success for the past four years.)

I think deano has a good point. Really no one should vote for Obama because I have a hard time believing he is even a US citizen. That is a bigger issue than the fact that Romney didn’t serve in the military. And I don’t accept tampered birth certificates. Plus if Obama didn’t have so much to hide, he would have produced that birth certificate immediately. They sure were hounding Romney to produce his tax records.

Wow! The group must all be home from the Tea Party Meeting at the Blue Line.
Dear ellamay — MILLIONS of people are going to vote for President Obama, despite your last-minute plea.
As for grammar — the sentence is correct, deano. Deano’s a birther means Deano IS a birther, a perfect use of a contraction. The fact that you didn’t know that speaks volumes.
I’m not going to engage in any further discussion on this topic. Vote for Romney. Good luck with that. And set your clocks back an hour.

Ok, I thought you were saying I owned a birther. Anyway for those who thought the same here is what I found about it: In short, it’s best to avoid contractions with the verb “is” when you are using it with a noun, including a proper name. “Kim’s here” (Kim-apostrophe-s) isn’t wrong, but it just isn’t as clear as “Kim is here.” Maybe not “a perfect use of a contraction” but useable. Anyway eastender is the English master it is only is choice of leadership and ideals that I question…

Ben — WOW! The hits just keep on coming! MORE useful information! Just in time! It’s too bad this has NOTHING to do with the topic! You and deano are masters of veering off topic.
Will we see you at the victory celebration tomorrow? I hope you can make it. I know it’s a school night.
