I have a hard problem trusting somebody who was the Chairman on the country during all of this mess we are in. I guess I need more than Chairman Benson to show up to my house, shake hands, blame it on all of his fellow commissioners and promise to fix the mess that he helped create. Matt Widboom hasn’t lied to his constituents like the Chairman has. Chairman Benson said to us that Mel had retired, only after digging from the Globe did it come out, that no Mel had not retired, but was still on the payroll for another year at over $100,000. I guess need somebody that I can trust when I vote, not somebody that has proven un-trust worthy.

I find it incredible that Benson found the time to visit this woman’s house up to 4 times during this election cycle but, in an interview, he said that the commissioners hadn’t met with Mel Ruppert’s direct reports (managers, supervisors) in more than 4 years!

What a good point. Just because somebody is nice and comes out to your house to visit should give them a pass to not tell the truth to their constituents.
