I’ve read this Editorial at least six times and still can’t believe what I think I’m reading. Anyone else getting the idea that the Globe is endorsing Romney or I’m I missing something here. I read once more before posting, still getting the same impression, help me out here…

Seriously though, the Globe and liberals alike know that this country would be doomed if obama has another crack at taking the USA over the cliff. My respect has just gone up for the Globe.

Nope, not time to shut up, thanks. The Globe is still way “left of Lenin” as Clint Eastwood says, but I’ll give them credit for coming to their senses here! If you don’t like crow maybe its time to see what’s on someone else’s plate. On second thought maybe a little crow is deserved here!!!

Pat e. thanks for the reassurance. Maybe the Globe has realized that a vote for obama would be a vote against themselves. Obama is the biggest threat America as ever faced. His agenda is to tear the country down not build it up. He has surrounded himself with anti-American people. He wants a weak America because he believes America is responsible for the poverty and oppression in many other counties. That’s why he doesn’t care about the debt, he actually wants it, the bigger the debt the weaker we are. That’s the reason he restricted American oil while giving taxpayer money to other countries to drill for oil, some of which are flat out enemies. Again, strengthens them weakens us! Nuclear bomb for Iran? Same thing! The list goes on, I don’t know who\what obama is but I know what he is not, and that is American. That’s why he hides who he is, see 2016 obama’s America. God help us if we allow this guy another chance it!

I wonder how many Liberals will enter the blogosphere, screaming and yelling and hyper-ventilating just because the Globe endorsed Romney, the candidate they don’t favor?
As a friendly reminder, when the Globe endorsed Klobuchar and Walz, and urged people to vote “no” on the constitutional amendments you would have thought the world was coming to an end! The “left of Lenin” Globe was vilified for days! It’s too bad those ‘brilliant’ posts were taken down for all to review right now.
When Reps Hamilton and Schomacker were endorsed by the Globe, did Progressives take to the streets??? Are the Progressives whining that the Globe is “right of Limbaugh”? Nope.
Now, all of a sudden, with the Romney endorsement, they say that their respect for the Globe has gone up! The Globe has now “come to its senses.” Doesn’t anybody see how silly this all has become? It’d be laughable if it wasn’t so sad. It IS hypocritical, ellamay. That’s not name calling. That’s calling a duck a duck.

The Globe supporting a Republican? Wow, I’m surprised and shocked. It looks like they are going with the “it’s broke, lets fix it” idea. Liberals like to blame and call names, but never come up with ideas to fix problems. I better get back to work to support the illegals in school, since they deserve it!!

Everybody deserves a chance in life, buddy. Stop picking on the school kids. That’s just a cheap shot.
It wasn’t a liberal who called a writer a “joker” in another post today. And if you think the word “hypocrite” is name-calling, you live a very sheltered life.
I don’t see ANY solutions coming from anybody on the right, either. Or, rather, I don’t see any “solutions” that won’t cost $50 million or more. Now, back to work so you can pay more taxes to fund the Voter ID implementation. The money’s gotta come from somewhere and you should certainly not complain about paying your fair share.

It kind of did, but the Globe is still a small town newspaper, so their still not near as liberal as the cities paper. If I had a choice I would rather pay for voter ID’s for lawful voters than to educate law breakers.

Careful eastender, you’re going to give yourself an ulcer. This is simple to understand…I will praise the Globe when they deserve it and call them out when I feel they are wrong. It’s called an opinion, which we all have a right to. On the other hand there are some people that haven’t earned that right because they broke the law by coming here ILLEGALLY and it co$t all of us in many different ways. Yes, “buddy”, everyone deserves a chance in life, but doing it illegally is a “cheap shot”.
I would gladly pay for voter ID implementation instead of paying for all the problems ILLEGAL immigration causes.

Wow, deano and ben — what an EXCELLENT job of sleuthing! You’ve uncovered some absolutely factual, vital-to-know, information about the President! Congratulations! It’s ALL true, because it’s on the Internet! Some ultra-right-wing organizations really know how to create videos and websites! Most of it is only 3 or 4 years old! I cannot thank you enough!
As a result, I’m sure millions of voters will be swayed from voting for Obama and will switch, suddenly and decisively, to Romney! You have truly done the voters in MN – if not all of America – a favor by bringing this up.
