But… Kent Conrad gave the following statement after deciding not to run for re-election:
“I want to spend my time and energy trying to focus on solving the nation’s budget woes than be distracted by another campaign.”

Gaylord Conrad apparently spent three years enjoying his Delaware beach house instead of bothering with a budget. By the time he got around to it he was out. Even Reid dumped him.

Rumor has it Harry Reid was responsible for the failure to pass a budget. He didn’t want his caucus to take politically tough votes in an election year.

These organizations donate money to particular candidates for a reason. To get a foot in the door when they need or want something.
If a group is for something you arte against, you should turn down their money.
No different than wondering what “favors” would be expected for the Anti-Fracking group that donated all their cash to her campaign.
Are we to believe she would just leave Williston operations alone after taking money from a group that wants them shut down?
Sorry but in my book thats too risky. And even if she did leave them alone, wouldnt that just make her disingenuous?
Sorry but its too much of a chance to vote for someone who has two top contributors that are bad for North Dakota.
