Carl, you do understand how popular Pres. Clinton is … RIGHT? Why is Pres. Bush II not campaigning for Mr. Romney?? That seems odd to me, goodness he was a two term President, that must mean he was popular enough to get elected twice. Why isn’t he campaigning??

Again Carl, reality calling! How did you do personally durning the Clinton years? I did fantastic, I felt safe, the rest of the world loved the USA, the middle class was doing well, we had a budget surplus, home mortgages were reasonable, savings returns were ok, as a country it was probably as good as it was in the Eisenhower years. America would have reelected him to a 3rd, 4th, and who know a 5th term. If his name was on the ballot he would rout Romney! America loves Bill Clinton!

Jessie and Michael, I think you have forgotten the contentious demeanor between then Senator Obama and Senator Hillary Clinton in the last candidate races for the DFL presidential candidate.
This is where I have a theory of what has happened since then and what the future will be . President Obama picked Hillary for SOS which appeased the animosity between the two somewhat(mind Hillary has done her job but has come under a cloud due to recent events -MHO).
For the second part, should President Obama get re-elected to a second term, he will probably/might/will have an opportunity to select two Supreme Court justices – - one of which will be Hillary(which should more than bury the hatchet and the complete forgiveness of past personal animosity towards each other). So Bill will more than gladly to campaign as he knows what his help might result in.
Remember right now the Supreme Court is a 5-4 makeup but with this election might/could become a 4-5 court.

I remember where President Bush is today … he is int he Caymen Islands giving a speech … btw did you all read about the email going out on Newt Gingrich’s email list warning people that President Obama had already won this year’s election but that they needed to fight against him winning in 2016 (I am paraphrasing).

Carl while you are condemning Clinton for his short coming, I noticed you didn’t mention former Senator Craig who led the charge to have Clinton impeached. Seems like the former Senator was in a airport public restroom soliciting sex from other males. The Senator was caught by a MN police officer undercover, tapping on the restroom floor which would alert someone he was available.The Senator took a guilty plea on a reduced charge but when the story leaked, the Senator tried to take back his plea, which cost the tax payers 200 thousand in legal fees, and the good Senator ended up losing his appeal. The former Senator also led the charge against gay marriage, and gay rights. So Carl before you go after Clinton make sure to mention Senator Craig..

But jimmy, Senator wass booted out of the Senate for his indisgression as he should have been.
By the way, ex-President Clinton was not impeached for any sexual escapades but was charged with perjury, obstruction of justice, a second charge of perjury and with abuse of power. He was only convicted by the House of the perjury and obstruction of justice with the other two being dropped. But the Senate did not concur with the final two House charges and therefore was not convicted.
Having sex with a cigar and perjury are very different.

Alas there are many closeted gay people which is unfortunate … we are a progressive country we should be able to handle that! Many are married with children, they live their life as a lie because their family and friends couldn’t handle the truth.

Bob trying to put your own spin on this doesn’t change the facts. Craig led the charge to impeach Clinton over his affair and denial, even while hiding his deep dark secret. Who cares what the other factors were, the point is Craig lacked integrity, and was less then honest with the people he represents, Who knows how long he had this secret lifestyle? Senator Craig was one of the politicians who wanted to deny gays the right to marry, or the right to have the same benefits as any married couples. Now maybe it wouldn’t have looked so bad when he was caught redhanded by a police sergeant if he wasn’t so anti gay. The cop who detained him, and charged him stressed the manner in which the Senator lied after being caught. The cop said this is suppose to be a Senator, yet he lied straight face. Craig continued to maintain he was not guilty after taking a plea agreement to a lesser charge when the incident went public. He was no better then Clinton was, and in this case worst, because he was a hypocrite who also spend 200T of tax payers money on taking back his plea which he lost! Craig left office probably too ashamed to continue, and he wasn’t the only Republican paying for sex from other men. We had the page incident, with young pages, and then the politician caught in a sting paying 20 dollars for oral sex from another man at a park. Repubicans have made it a habit of targeting gays and gay marriage, support these bills based on their own religous beliefs, but are themselves engaging in gay sex or living with another man. I like to also point out some Republicans who were against abortion have had their daughters or their girlfriends seek abortions so their wives don’t find out.The list went on which is why we can’t have Religion injected into politics, its wrong and it discriminates especially for those who don’t believe in god or the bible. Why should any of our American citizens be subjected to bills or laws based solely on a politicians religious beliefs?
